Members of the Reform Taoist Congregation are granted access to the Community area of the website. Members will also receive communications via e-mail. All members' e-mail addresses will be added to a private mailing list. Unsubscribing from the list while remaining a member of the Reform Taoist Congregation is not permitted. Any member who wishes to remove himself or herself from the mailing list must cancel his or her membership to the Reform Taoist Congregation. (Please see the Privacy Policy for more information on membership.)
Every member must, in a timely fashion, notify the administrator of any change to his or her preferred e-mail address. (The administrator can be reached through the contact form.) Members may also see

Monetary donations are not currently required for membership.
The administrator may cancel an existing membership and/or reject a new membership application at any time, and for any reason. A member may cancel his or her membership for any reason, but must allow seven (7) days for the cancellation to be processed.
If the administrator cancels a membership, he will attempt to notify the affected member via e-mail, using the member's most recently-recorded e-mail address, except when all attempts (by the administrator, the website, the e-mail list, or any combination thereof) to send e-mail to the member's most recently-recorded e-mail address have failed for two consecutive weeks.
If a member decides to cancel his or her membership, the member must notify the administrator of the cancellation. Once the membership is cancelled, the administrator will attempt to send a cancellation confirmation to the member via e-mail, using the member's most recently-recorded e-mail address.
Any material, in any medium, submitted to the administrator for potential publication on the website or for use in e-mail communications (such as the newsletter) is subject to approval by the administrator. The administrator reserves the right to edit submissions for clarity and length. In order to be considered for publication on the website or for use in e-mail communications, submitted material must be the original work of the submitter, and/or must be properly and completely annotated to give proper credit to the work of others.
